Hike

It was our intention to hike this, but there were quicker campers who took the passes before we could get our paws on them. Instead we settled with hiking a few familiar trails which although wasn't as adventuresome and exciting was still majestic and beautiful. Some things just speak of The Divine. I think Zion is one of them.

The day was a lot of fun all in all.

I felt so impressed today I felt small. I was impressed by the scenery and impressed with the diversity of people and culture that come to visit it. But most of all I was impressed by the intricate tapestry that human connection forms. I thought a lot about how one encounter can change lives, even though most of the time we wouldn't notice until in a scrutinizing retrospect. People matter. People affect people affect people. People touch people and create beautiful relationships and chance meetings. To sit and think of all the ways that people have impacted me each day is an exhausting task because there are so many of the tiniest interactions which ultimately change me for the better.
