Gosh it disturbs me to see you, Baby

Baby A is starting to get a little C.O.A. (center of attention) complex. The car is the worst because, Hello! Why did you leave me back here? I'm the cutest and I know you want to smile at me!

It's true. She is, and we do. So sometimes I'll climb in the back seat and talk or sing while Mike drives. Yesterday she laughed the entire time I sang the Gaston Song (with her name, of course. I don't think we ever sing real lyrics to her anymore...)

She has been doing a rouge laugh here or there, but nothing like last night. It was so fun to hear her squeal and laugh because I'm so darn hilarious.
Gosh it disturbs me to see you, Ada
Looking so down in the dumps
Every baby'd love to be you, Ada
Even when taking your lumps
There's no girl in town as admired as you
You're ev'ryone's favorite babe
Ev'ryone's awed and inspired by you
And it's not very hard to see why

No one's cute like Ada
No one roots like Ada
No one rumbles and does lots of toots like Ada
For there's no babe in town half as darling
Perfect, a pure paragon
You can ask any Tom, Dick or Starling
And they'll tell you whose baby they'd bring right along

No one's been like Ada
Got a grin like Ada
No one's got a swell cleft in their chin like Ada
As a specimen, yes, I'm intimidating
Gosh what a girl, that Ada

No one sits like Ada
Matches wits like Ada
In a spitting match nobody spits like Ada
She's especially good at expectorating
(Ptooey!)
Ten points for Ada!

When was she newborn she ate 12 times a day
Sucking pecho to help her get large
And now that she's older she eats eight times a day
So she's roughly the size of a barge

No one looks like Ada
Reads those books like Ada
Then kicks on the floor while Mom cooks like Ada
She uses burpcloths in all of her decorating
Say it again
Who's a girl among girls?
And then say it once more
Who's the hero next door?
Who's a super success?
Don't you know? Can't you guess?
Ask her fans and her five hangers-on
There's just one babe in town who's got all of it down
And her name's A-D-A-
A-D-A- - L-
A-D-A-L-O- oh!
Ada Lou!

Adorable. That song will always remind me of when my girls were born. I have no idea why, but they were trying to remember the lyrics while performing my c-section. Crazies.

Little Ada is darling. I love the recent video! Super, super cute.
