It seems like every few days I get into a "I'm just not cut out for half the stuff I'm expected to do" rut. Today is not one of those days, mostly because all I've really been doing today is playing with Ada (which I'm pretty good at, if I do say so myself) and needle-pointing a stocking.
But I think it's a good day to remind ourselves that we are doing better than we think we are. I read on a friend's blog a few days ago that we should be more kind to ourselves because we're really doing a good job. I think she's right. We really are.
On this bright and cheery weekend, I'm going to try to be less hard on myself (and those around me) and take a moment to realize what a good job we all are doing.
